Richard Ma, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Richard Ma is an internal medicine physician and the medical director for LuxDerm MedSpa. He is also the Chief Medical Officer for Tewskbury State Hospital. He is fully certified in neurotoxin and filler procedures and collaborates with Diego in obtaining the best aesthetic outcomes for our patients. Dr. Ma graduated with a BS in biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He then attended the John A. Burns School of Medicine in Hawaii and subsequently completed his training in Cambridge, MA at the Cambridge Health Alliance Hospital affilitated with Harvard Medical School. In addition to his duties at LuxDerm and Tewksbury State Hospital, Dr. Ma cares for critically ill patients at Lahey Hospital in Burlington. Outside of clinical medicine, Dr. Ma is active in advancing the delivery of healthcare, especially to those most in need. He holds four medically related patents pertaining to the efficient delivery of healthcare and infection control. Lastly Dr. Ma is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the METIS foundation which is dedicated to improving medical research funding related to healthcare for military personnel.
Diego DeMelo, RN, BSN
Lead Nurse Injector and Director of Aesthetic Services
Diego, is a nurse injector with over 13 years of experience as a leader in the Aesthetic, intensive care nursing and emergency care fields. His background is notable for intensive training in patient care, which includes serving as a critical care nurse in tertiary care centers. He combines his artistic eye, perfectionistic qualities, and medical expertise, to give his patients impeccable results. When it comes to cosmetic procedures, specifically injectables, Diego has mastered the art of re-vitalizing the face by softening fine lines and wrinkles, re-establishing volume, and optimizing overall appearance and beauty. He will listen to your requests and concerns. Diego will explain the available procedures that would be optimal for your unique situation. He also performs select body procedures, including fat dissolving, buttock lifting/gentle reshaping, and skin tightening.
Sylvie Miskavitch, RN
Lead Aesthetic Nurse
With 29 years of nursing experience, Sylvie Miskavitch has spent seven years as a trailblazer in aesthetics. Her expertise extends from 17 years in hospital settings, specializing in pediatric critical care and teaching, to five years as a school nurse. Sylvie's favorite treatment, the liquid facelift, showcases her artistry in rejuvenating and empowering her clients. Highly rated on Google, Sylvie is renowned for her ability to make women feel beautiful and confident. Her holistic approach combines medical precision with a keen eye for aesthetics. Sylvie listens attentively to her patients' needs, offering personalized solutions that enhance natural beauty.
